Caffeine Soothes the Stressed Out Soul

As someone who considers herself a 2 AM breakdown aficionado (or 2 PM, depending on my mental stability), I’ve found ways to cope with the impending doom that comes packaged with high school. Good ol’ adolescence can be far more than one can handle at times and it helps to have ways to get away from the messy atmosphere that is our teenage reality.

One of the many coping mechanisms I pride myself on includes the quest for the perfect coffee shop. Personally, the taste of pure caffeine and sugar don’t exactly appeal to my tastebuds – I tend to go straight for the diabetes with a cup of tea on the side to feed my wannabe-British alter ego. However, the genuine environments that many coffee shops and cafes have are enough to keep me yearning for more than just their assorted teas. For my fellow ambience-lovers and coffee enthusiasts, here are a few spots around town that should definitely go on your list of stress-free safe havens.
