NAHS Friendship Bracelet Fundraiser

Treat your valentine with a friendship bracelet from NAHS.

You love your friends, but do you really? What do you do to show them appreciation? Do you bring them their favorite Starbucks drink, send them a meme, or grab lunch somewhere fun?

These are all great, but one of the most classic ways to show your friend some love is to give them a friendship bracelet. It’s one of those gestures that brings back childhood nostalgia of somewhere carefree, and no doubt will make them smile. They can wear it on their wrist, hang it in their car, put it on a keychain, etc. and whenever they see it they will think of you… I mean, how sweet, just wow.

There are many different ways you can make a friendship bracelet, whether it’s beaded, braided, or one of those loom rubber band ones that every kid owned a kit for at some point in their childhood. The only issue is that a lot of times making a bracelet can be very time consuming and if you’re anything like me, you’ll get bored in a minute. You probably want something homemade, but don’t want to spend hours on it.

Furthermore, we get busy, and we have a budget. So my solution is this; purchase an already made friendship bracelet from any National Art Honor Society member. Now through April 5th they are selling braided friendship bracelets of various colors and sizes. They are being sold for just three dollars each. Some are skinny and others are a more wide threading, so there’s great variety to choose from.

With Valentine’s Day approaching quickly, ditch the chocolate and give your ~special someone~ something that will last a little longer than that chocolate getting digested in a few hours. Plus, you can support a school organization through your contribution. It’s a win-win no matter how you look at it.  Pick one up today before they run out, and show some love to your favorite people!
