Avid Assistance

Jacob Mitchell, Staff Writer

Are you unorganized or need help in your classes? Avid Assistance is a new program that will help you organize your high school career and improve your grades.

This Avid Assistance takes place through the avid program, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), a college readiness class that keeps students organized and prepared for the future.

“AVID Assistance will help students organize their binder or backpack, keep an agenda, and also help understand classroom material,” Tony Clark the AVID advisor, volleyball and soccer coach said.

If you are struggling with balancing nine class periods and the associated stress, AVID Assistance could benefit you.

“Anyone who needs help with school or staying organized should come to AVID Assistance” Clark said.

AVID Assistance is currently held in room 277, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45am-8:30am. If you have any questions visit Coach Clark in room 277.
