Youth and Government Mock Trial has been a part of Keller High since 2003, and this year is going to be bigger than ever! If you are interested in the law, making speeches, creating bills, or have an interest in certain countries, then this is the club for you!

The club has three parts: trial court, legislative, and model UN. The trial court is made up of four teams with eight members each, six witnesses and two lawyers, who are appointed a trial case to compete with at district and state competitions.

The legislative branch is essentially an exact replica of the Texas government. Participants write a bill over any topic they please, then debate it.

Model UN was introduced this year to Keller High YG Mock Trial. Each person picks a country and debates over current events.

Meetings are held every Monday, the next being September 8th. If you cannot attend this meeting but still are interested in joining, talk to Mrs. McLaughlin in room 274 or email [email protected]
