Cowboys Season Success or Failure?

Evan Starr, Staf Writer

Was the Cowboys’ season a success or a failure? This question has been making its way around the DFW area; some say it was a success, some say it was a failure, so I thought I would put my two cents in.

I think this Cowboys’ season was a great success. If you would have told me that Tony Romo would go down with another back injury and two rookies would have to step up and lead this team to a 13-3 record, win the NFC East, be the #1 seed in the whole NFC and get a first round bye for the playoffs, I would have laughed in your face, but that’s exactly what happened and because of that, this season was a success for the Dallas Cowboys.

Even though they did fall very short in the playoffs, this team did things that looked impossible at the beginning of the season. And with Dak and Zeke leading the way, the future for this team looks bright as can be, and with Super Bowls hopefully in the near future, Cowboys fans have a lot to look forward to going into next season and beyond.

You can’t always judge a season just on how they did in the playoffs and if they won the championship or not. You have to look at the whole thing, and in doing that you see what exactly this Cowboys team accomplished and what they can accomplish in the near future.
