Horse Riding

Makenzy Bozosi, Staff Writer

Most people know that there are two common types of horseback riding but most people don’t know anything about them.  The two main types are western and english, and the main difference that most people see is that english is a lot more proper. Some little differences are that on a saddle for western it has something called “a horn”. Which is a bump like thing on the top that western riders holden onto while riding. Another difference is that most common in english they judge you on the way you and your horse look, also the way the horses jump. In western they mainly just judge on how fast you can cross the line. Also english is much more  expensive because of being judged on looks and also renting out rooms in competitions.
