Haunted House Helps Keller Community

Meleah York, Editor-in-Chief

Are you looking for something to get you into the spooky spirit this month? Maybe you’re craving the tricks more than the treats this year? In that case, you’ll want to stop by the House of Terror, a haunted house experience hosted by Community Storehouse.

Community Storehouse views knowledge as power and uses education to cultivate student success through reading and leadership programs. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to establishing literacy programs for young students in Keller, Northwest, and Carroll Independent School Districts who come from low-income families.

The proceeds raised from the haunted house will go toward these programs in order to further enrich the lives of these students, increasing their opportunities to learn through expanding literacy programs.

The House of Terror opens Friday, October 5. It will be open every Friday and Saturday in October, including November 2 and 3, from 8PM to 12AM.

Community Storehouse is located on 12001 Katy Road in Fort Worth. Admission is $15 (cash or credit cards are accepted) and students under 13 must be accompanied by a parent.
