With the return of fall comes the return of the classic fall-based drinks we all know and love. If you don’t know what to order at your favorite coffee shop or want to try something different, read on for the best classic fall drinks of the season.

An autumn twist on a classic drink, the pumpkin spice hot chocolate is a great alternative for those who don’t like coffee. It’s the best of both chocolate and pumpkin, which most of us associate with being the most recognized favor of fall.  The pumpkin gives a hint of sweetness for those who want to try something new and in this season.

Another sweet selection for those who aren’t fond of coffee–apple cider is great for rainy, cold days. It’s sweet with hints of spice, highlighting the flavors of cinnamon and granny smith apples. This fall favorite is available virtually everywhere, with many different takes on the drink, like adding cinnamon.

In order to keep it consistent with warm drinks–hot tea. If you’re really not a fan of the two above you’re sure to enjoy a nice, steaming cup of tea. They come in a variety of flavors, ranging from peppermint to black. Perfect for hanging out with friends and family, with a fire and a blanket.

Saving the well-known favorite for last, the pumpkin spice latte is a crowd favorite that pleases almost everyone, hence it being the most popular drink at Starbucks during the fall. It does have coffee, so be aware before ordering this drink. Like most drinks on this list, the main flavor is pumpkin. It’s definitely a strong flavor, and has coffee as an after note.  It’s a great drink that you can’t go wrong with.

All of these drinks are amazing, and embody the fall spirit. No matter which one you choose, it will be great. Hope you enjoy!
