Holly Jolly Playlist

Maggie Coleman, Staff Writer

Merry Christmas and happy holidays! With Thanksgiving behind us, it’s time to focus on the holidays and spreading Christmas cheer.

Certain people may like to start celebrating Christmas early, but I am a strong believer in waiting until after Thanksgiving to get excited about other holidays. Thanksgiving is underrated as it is (a whole holiday centered around food and being thankful? It’s a no-brainer!) and therefore deserves as much attention from people as it can get.

However, the minute Thanksgiving is over, all I can think about is Christmas! I’m ready to decorate the house and go look at all the lights on my neighbor’s houses.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll need a playlist of all the best Christmas songs to start blasting on the way to school, doing homework, decorating the tree, and basically just living life from now until December 25!

I’ve included some classics as well as new gems that way you don’t get bored listening to the same things you have since you were little. Hopefully this playlist will encourage you to embody the things the holidays stand for — being kind, generous, and uplifting towards other, Happy listening!
