Fall and Winter Date Ideas for Teens

Gwen Morovitz, Assistant Editor

There’s no doubt that winter and fall are potentially the perfect seasons to go out with friends and family to enjoy nice weather and beautiful scenery. The holiday season is a great time to spend with a significant other, and the ideas are endless for activities to do this time of year.

It’s obvious that a pumpkin patch is the best place to be during the cool autumn evenings in October and early November. Taking cute pictures in the corn maze or on a tractor is a perfect aesthetic. Afterwards, you can spend the evening carving a pumpkin for Halloween.

During November when the cooler temperatures start to kick in, a lot of cities light their Christmas trees or have light parades to kick off the Christmas season. Going to see Christmas lights or taking pictures with Christmas trees, (like the one in Keller Town Center or Southlake Town Square) is a great way to spend the evening.

Even decorating for Christmas at home can be a fun way to spend time together and get in the spirit for the holidays.

Driving around with hot chocolate, listening to Christmas music, and seeing what Christmas lights people have put up in your neighborhood is a fun experience too.

Making cookies or sweets and watching Christmas movies together is a great way to save money and gas if you still want to have a cute date. It doesn’t take much to make a batch of cookies or make some hot chocolate and cuddle up on the couch to watch Rudolph or Frosty the Snowman.
